Since 2009, Hancock Day School has held dual Southern Association of Independent Schools, Inc. (SAIS) and AdvancED, Inc. accreditation. This accreditation validates that our school’s mission, governance, leadership, curriculum, communication, and support systems meet the rigorous standards established by SAIS and AdvancED. By maintaining this accreditation, Hancock certifies that it provides students with the tools necessary for a productive educational journey from prekindergarten through eighth grade. Additionally, our accreditation also helps teachers and administrators stay up to date with research in the academic community and collaborate with similar independent schools.
Every five years, accredited, independent schools must go through the reaccreditation process. We are currently preparing for a visit from a team of school administrators in the spring of 2019, and we need your help. Please complete this survey by Friday, November 17th. We will use the information you provide in our self-study as we create goals that will help us continue fulfilling the mission of Hancock Day School. It is vital we hear from everyone because your voice is an important part of the future direction of our school. Again, please make your voice heard and respond by Friday, November 17th.
Thank you in advance for your continued support of Hancock Day School.
