Hancock Day School

In 5th Grade Music, students are learning the process of how to write your own music composition. Last week, they wrote lyrics and rhythmic patterns. Today, Ms. Dillon's homeroom began to add the melody. Using the xylophones, students were able to discover what melodic pattern sounded best and then notated it on paper. Once this step is completed, they will move on to creating an instrument accompaniment to go along with their song. So exciting! ... See MoreSee Less

Hancock wants to wish congratulations to our 7th grade boys basketball team and their coaches David DeWitt, Jason Graham and Trip Tollison! Last week they defeated Blessed Sacrament in the final SPAL Championship game!

Congratulations also to all of our other players, teams, coaches, families and friends for a wonderful basketball season.
