Choosing a school for your child is one of the most important and personal decisions a family makes. The process of identifying which school is the right fit is different for everyone, so we provide a variety of ways for families to get to know us here at Hancock Day School.

  • Admission Previews are hosted throughout the Fall, and are designed to provide a peek into the school day for prospective families.
  • Personal tours give parents a more individualized opportunity to discuss specific interests or questions. Call our main office at 912.351.4500 to make arrangements.
  • Our website and Facebook page share news and updates that provide prospective families with a true sense of our school community.

Admission Previews

Admission Previews are designed for prospective parents to spend time with a variety of school community members and get to know HDS. Parent and staff presentations, tours of the school, and time with our Administrators help to give you a “preview” of what the HDS experience will be at all grade levels.

Spaces will be limited in order to promote social distancing. A short presentation will be held in Hancock Hall, followed by a tour of the school. We ask all attendees to wear a face mask. Temperatures will be checked at the door. Applications are currently online. Testing will be scheduled for late January.
