Community service is vital in the life of Hancock Day School elementary school and middle school students. Our students engage in more than 2,000 hours of service annually and in doing so gain respect and a sense of responsibility for the greater Savannah community.

Such service projects include:
   • Collecting food for Savannah's Second Harvest
   • Visiting eldercare facilities
   • Providing and decorating ornaments for the local children's hospital
   • Organizing a coat drive for Savannah's indigent

This is just a sample of the many services in which students at Hancock Day School are involved throughout the year. If you know of new and meaningful ways to serve our community, we encourage you to contact us as we seek to provide enlightening experiences both in and out of the classroom.
